Dear Dr. Boonchai,
I would like to inform you that I have been admitted to a doctoral program in Counseling Psychology at Boston University through a 45-minute conference phone interview. I have also been awarded a Glenn Fellowship; receiving a full financial assistance package. I have attached an official admission letter into this email. My parents and I are extremely happy with this great news. I would like to thank you very much for providing me with a solid foundation in English and philosophical guidance. As a Fast English student wherever I am, I always adopt your lessons to lead my life.
I have acknowledged that pursuing a doctorate in this field (counseling psychology) is the right path for me as I have a lot of passion and happiness in doing this. Because of self-understanding, I know what I want to do in my life and put a lot of effort to pursue my dream. Actually, it is my determination that I want to transform the money and resources that my parents and my aunt have supported me on a master's level into something valuable in the long term. Therefore, getting admission to a doctoral program is not the doctoral in itself, but instead is my expression of gratitude toward my parents and my aunt who trust in me.
